Bidra med feedbackWe (3 adults) enjoyed a dinner and a breakfast at the hotel restaurant. For dinner we had a starter and main course, with two bottles of red wine and it was just over £20 (25 euros) per person. The food was cooked of great quality... well I especially recommend the carpaccio for beginners and the steak (drilled beef) for the main course. Breakfast quality was good, but was too expensive in my view. The staff and the service were excellent.
We had reservations in the nearby Western City, but they had booked us twice. After 9.5 hours we were exhausted. Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted by one of the most friendly receptionists I have ever met. General credit... at the hotel. She quickly got our rooms sorted, sorted the kids with Wifi and made us dinner reservations. The rooms were spacious and immaculate!! Excellent toiletries and fantastic pillows. The restaurant was cheap and the food delicious This is a hotel in Layover, but one of the best!!
The guys who serve us were friendly, polite and very helpful.. well done! The food was good, the service was great and the champagne was even better. We had a nice meal. A good restaurant in a good hotel. Very recommended.
We checked into the hotel at 6.30 p.m. after a very long journey from the south to say we can't have a table before 9:00 p.m. Suppose that says something about the popularity of the restaurant or its distance from Troyes. We came to the bar at 20.00 and talked to the Maitre d', who had an additional table that was brought and laid for us within 15 minutes. This gives me a positive mood over every restaurant! Our food was served immediately without our being rushed in any way and it was really delicious. I must admit that although I was an adventurous eater I was from Andouillette (area speciality I understand), the waiter explained that it was pumpkin or pork sausage. I had the Eskargots and they were excellent. The wine list was good and reasonable and the waiting staff was helpful, cheerful and effective. Unfortunately it was our last night in France for this trip, but since the hotel itself was very comfortable and quiet and Troyes is a beautiful city that I now know where to eat when you return from the south or east of France.
Food was just ok, and quite expensive. Staff where ok. Heineken was on draught. If you can be bothered id look for somewhere better
