Nedou’s - Bāramūla

It is a good old charming cottage. We were in Lupin B, which was wonderful to have your own private room with 2 bedrooms and dining area. Service was excellent. Central room heating was more than enough to keep us warm. Kudos to Mr. Rashid, who kept us well during our stay. Many views and snow around the winter. It is a super located property at this price. But you cannot expect facilities like a 5-star hotel. We loved it.

The location is just perfect. The rooms are cozy with an chimney inside. The staff is very good and polite. Food is extremely delicious. They even have a bar which is rare in Srinagar, however it is extremely costly. 60 ml of old monk will cost 960 bucks. The only drawback is that the hotel is expensive for a 3 star hotel. Rest everything is very good.

The view is mesmerizing from the property. It is beautifully maintained. The staff is helpful and polite except the receptionist. The washroom was tidy but the room could have been better in a better state. It seemed quite old and chipped. Overall the stay was wonderful.

This 130 years old heritage property is situated at an amazing location in Gulmarg, with golf course at one side and Apharwat Peak on the other. The rooms are spacious with all amenities and tastefully decorated. The view from outside the room will take your breath away. The service staff is warm, polite and helpful. The food be it dinner or breakfast was delicious and healthy. Only miss was the guy on reception, who seemed rude and quiet. Rest assured it's one of the best place to stay in Gulmarg.

Hotel is very old and a heritage place, deducting one star because of low maintenance. The hotel should take steps to keep the hotel alive and do the repair works properly wherever needed. Also, the rooms which are on height need alot of walking to reach there which includes steps as well. It is difficult for parents and old age people to walk up there and come back down for meals. Request for management to find an alternative/better way to commute to rooms. 5 stars for service of staff and hospitality 5 stars for kitchen and food 5 stars for location and views+ambience
