The Meeting Place - Banyule

This restaurant is a lovely spot for breakfast with delicious food at a reasonable price. The coffee is excellent and the atmosphere is charmingly rustic in Eltham.

We visited this restaurant shortly after Christmas for a light lunch and all three of us decided to order the Calamari. It was nice, delicate, and cooked perfectly. We all enjoyed the pomegranate salad that was also served. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I stumbled across this place by chance while I was looking for a place to get brunch on Toorak Road.

The fresh juice was nice and the service was pleasant and friendly. However, the food was mediocre. I ordered the Spanish eggs and wasn't too impressed. The coffee was just okay.

Nice place for breakfast, very nice food reasonably price, great coffee, nice quaint place in Eltham.
