Laneway Bar and Dining - Banora Point

After all the hype went with a friend when visiting the Gold Coast. Standard food and drinks. Much better venues around Broadbeach

Went and had tapas/coffees for lunch the salad was garden fresh the Korean glazed beef skewers were tasty.Great set up we hope it goes well for the owners.

Went to Laneway for tapas/drinks on a Saturday night. Venue has an intimate relaxed vibe, great place for a get together with friends - not too loud for a chat.But..as they are newly opened, theres room for improvement.Bar was under staffed and a lengthy wait to order cocktails (although they tasted great) and get water for table. Some of the food was over priced - especially the small bowl of sautéed vege (which looked like a cabbage salad packet from woolies) in soy sauce for $11.Mushrooms topped with braised beef was too salty to finish.Will be back again, but will give them some time to find their feet.

The burger is excellent. The cocktails are delicious. The cheese and charcuterie selection is fantastic. You absolutely must try the pastrami sandwich - it is a must-eat dish that you won't regret.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while walking with my friend and decided to have dinner there. The service was incredible.
