Bunde's Bakery Cafe Bangor

I dont know who it was there this morning but her attitude was not friendly at all i wanted to wish her a late national hugging day which was yesterday and she told me no in a very rude way and she didnt smile like the other person in there who was very outstandingly nice she actually gave me a hug and the prices there are very high just a sandwhich is $7 and a 12 inch specialized coffee is almost $3 i really didnt appreciate the rudness the person had anyway never going near that place again not even going to get a drink

I visited this café hoping to grab lunch and a coffee. The staff was a bit brash, but generally friendly. Upon entering, I was informed that they weren’t serving food due to a malfunction with their equipment. However, I decided to stay and just order a drink. I opted for a 16oz Mocha with an extra shot. Unfortunately, it was the worst drink I’ve ever had. The espresso was weak, even with the extra shot, and the milk was oversteamed, resulting in a lackluster flavor. I ended up returning the drink, but I didn’t ask for a refund; I simply said thank you and left. I was very disappointed. While the Railroad Cafe has a lovely building, I can’t recommend their coffee. Save your money.

The small beef panini I ordered looked like some sort of unidentifiable packaged meat. The broccoli cheddar soup appeared to be straight out of a can. My friend ordered two chili dogs, but there was barely enough chili for one. The drink options were limited to just coffee or tea. The cleanliness of the place was lacking as well. Our server was dressed in a winter coat, hat, and muddy boots. There were no other customers during lunchtime on a Friday, which was telling. Overall, it’s clear that this restaurant has definitely declined from what it used to be.

This charming little café, situated next to the railroad platform in Bangor, offers a cozy atmosphere. With a combination of private and communal seating, it's perfect for either getting some work done or enjoying a chat with friends. They have a great selection of delicious coffee and sandwiches. I really enjoy spending an hour or more here on my days off!
