Bidra med feedbackBusy spot with great, traditional takes on Thai cuisine from throughout the land of smiles. A large menu that we have been working our way through, and have not once been disappointed.
Honestly the BEST Thai meal that we had in Thailand for this trip! The flavours are complex, umami, well presented and a total treat to enjoy! Another great point is that the waiters are very caring to check on the spicy levels before ordering and even after the food came. Service is definitely on point. Last bit is that we also enjoyed the cocktails as it’s well balanced yet intresting. Can honestly see why they are in the Michelin list. EXCEPTIONALLY DONE Must try: Beef Khao Soi
The coconut ice cream with sticky rice from Thai Niyom was truly an extraordinary treat! It completely stole the show and left us in awe. We indulged in it during the afternoon and were so captivated by its heavenly taste that we returned for more, even squeezing in a third serving just before heading to the airport. The combination of the creamy coconut ice cream, perfectly paired with the aromatic sticky rice and complemented by the delightful crunch of peanuts on top, was an absolute delight. It was an experience that left an indelible impression, and I find myself constantly yearning for it, even now that I'm back in my home country. This, without a doubt, is the best ice cream I have ever had in my life. Besides the ice cream, the overall food quality is satisfactory, the fried crispy omelette dish, however, didn't quite hit the mark for us. It felt overly greasy and the portion size was a bit overwhelming. The pad thai wrapped in omelette provided a unique twist with a subtle tomato flavour.
Another michelin suggestion?! Right Beef Khao soi was ok, not amazing, Beef not that tender rather dry, roast pork neck ok, jungle soup very salty, had to return as it wasn’t edible Waiting for a simple food over 45+minutes with an empty restaurant did not help with overall experience , the service was slow, unprofessional and not attentive to guest even though restaurant not busy
An average eatery IMHO. I heard that this place was a Bib Gourmand, but I think the prices are a bit high to warrant that designation. The highlights for me were the pork neck, wagyu skirt steak, and Chinese kale with salted fish. The other dishes we tried were just average. Their appetizer sampler was mediocre and their famous omelette was just crunchy and way too oily. I 've had much better food from the numerous food halls nearby for a fraction of the cost. Also, service was not very good or attentive and that 's with a 10% service charge. I was expecting more from this place, but left disappointed.
