It was a sublime experience, one of the better Japanese meals in India. The food, service, ambience. I could go on ...
Hi Management team- the food is good but I would really suggest you have someone quality check the rice each time. It was really overcooked- meaning too much water making it not as firm as Japanese rice should be.
While reading the older reviews for this place, it appears that I have visited their new avatar in Richmond town. This is a VERY cute cafe tucked on residential Albert street with excellent food at a very reasonable price.I loved all the veggie options, though my non veg companions remarked at the lack of beef or too many pork options. We ate the spinach gomae which was a tad sweet, but absolutely delicious. Wakame seaweed salad which was yummy, as was the fried tofu salad with it's creamy sesame dressing. My bangaroll (veggie maki) was good. We ordered 3 desserts: the daifuku was perfectly yummy not too sweet. The anko pie was very tasty too, though a tiny bit sweet for our tastes. The mitarashi dango was the only thing I didn't like for it's salty sweet soya sauce. Service was a tiny bit slow, but friendly and good. A person who came to check on whether we were enjoying the food even did a card trick for us which apparently proved that my parents love me very much. Hahaha...Overall a VERY positive experience. I will be sure to go back very soon....
Food 5Staff 5Ambience 5A very small authentic food joint which is near to Brigade Rd Bus Terminal. This place is difficult to find but it's worth your efforts. The food which they serve here is authentic and many varieties of dessert is also available. The staff are very courteous and helpful. We ordered Omu Rice which was their first version of rice and egg, accompanied with a miso dressing salad. Both were perfect. Kare Pan was a bread stuffed with Japanese Curry, It was so tasty .For desserts with went for Dora Yaki or Doracakes as we all know and Mitarashi Dango. Both were so delicious plus it was new to my usual palate. This place is a must visit for all Japanese Food Lovers.Reasonably Priced and Pleasant Service!
