A bit of Goa in Kammanahalli – casa de Goa.<br/ <br/ There is saying that goes Me cas es tu casa – which means my house is your house. Something similar – my choice of goan cuisine restaurant could be your choice of goan cuisine restaurant. I had first visited Casa de Goa in around 2017 – after that I have been quiet a regular here.<br/ <br/ It’s the ambiance of place is simple – had a white walled entry area that gives you a feel of some of the old goan portugal buildings. Comfortable seating area. They have both outdown – or a properly ventilated seating for smokers and indoor seating. The dress the stewards wear here also makes you feel for a bit you r in Goa.<br/ <br/ In most of my visits to casa de goa – my orders has been a contact dishes. As really love to have same things again and again and again..<br/ <br/ In cocktails I really loved the Wiskey sour and mahattan here. B-52 is yet another favourites in the shots menu for me.<br/ <br/ In most of my visits I have had Goan green fish curry – a creamy cococut based curry that has mild taste – mostly the fish used is a fresh stock. I really loved this one.<br/ <br/ Yet another favorite choice is Goan green vegetable curry. This is sheer bliss – usually pair it with coconut rice.<br/ <br/ Ambotik fish curry is my second favourite dish for the Sweet and sour taste it renders – I loved to have it with the goan red rice which makes a best accompaniment.<br/ <br/ Pomfret masala fry here is to die for – I really loved to have it along side my whiskey. If I am not dining in here then I swiggy it to pair it along a small drink for the evening. Loved the freshness in masala and really well cleaned and cooked pomfret.<br/ <br/ More than food what makes me come back to this place again and again is there friendly staff – They greet you with a smile and service is timely and they have great attitude. If there is anything that a miss in the days food they are sure to have it replaced.
Ordered whiskey sour, chilli paneer and bebinca ice cream. Overall a pretty good experience, lovely ambience, courteous staff, good food and pricing! Family crowd as it was a Saturday, worth going!
A brilliant place for authentic Goan cuisine. The ambience and atmosphere gives an added bonus to an already quaint experience.
Transport yourself to Goa for lunch. Casa De Goa gives you the vacation in Goa feel, from the décor, food, down to the humid weather inside. We started with passion fruit flavoured beer (beer with bit of passion fruit syrup) and sangria, daiquiri. All were good, the beer was the best. I repeated the flavoured beer next with strawberry flavoured one. The menu was interesting. We tried the squid recheado, beef chilly and uncle Naidu’s mutton chops. All were good, the recheado was spicy, beef chilly and mutton chops were medium spicy. All matched well with beer. This was followed by cashew and peas masala which was a red masala, about average, not bad with drinks and really filled us up. We finished the meal with a Paneer and Peas with sausage pulao. The sausage was fried chunks. The rice was green in colour with plenty of cashews and fried onions. Me likes. Service was efficient and pleasant. Hope to come back here soon to try out the other interesting options on the menu.
