Visited few days back good place ambiance is nice service is good , staff is very polite , food is average they have lots of options in starters we liked the place . we will come again

Decor/Location Swenska is an upscale Hotel located in ECity. The parking is not a problem as the hotel offers valet parking. The hotel has a sky lounge which provides a very scenic view of the area but we preferred the Soul Indian specialty restaurant which provides equally comfortable experience. There is a buffet counter but we preferred the a la carte option. The place was not very crowded. The sittings are comfortable and relaxed.The staffs are courteous and Chef Mandal who is the executive chef; gave personal attention to us.<br/ <br/ Food This is an all Indian affair here. We preferred north Indian cuisine. We started with manchurian soup that contained finely chopped vegetables and crunchy noodles. A super start to our night.<br/ <br/ For starters we ordered Khasta Paneer; which was cottage cheese stuffed with dry fruits, coated with papad and fried. It was crunchy and had a very nutty flavor. Fantastic dish. <br/ Next starter was chicken sheek kabab. The kababs were smooth, soft and are mildly spicy. The dish was perfectly done by the chef and provided a great taste. <br/ Chef also gave some dimsums to try. They were moist and very flavorful. However the chutney which came with the dimsum was to die for. <br/ <br/ For main course we ordered chicken tikka masala and patoto butter masala. Both the dishes were recommended by Chef. The  gravy contained two slices of potato containing dry fruit between the, The gravy was smooth and silky. The gravy was slow cooed and had a great smoky flavor. This was a brilliant dish. <br/ The chicken tikka masala dish was equally good. The curry was slowly cooked for considerable time. The gravy had a lot of bhuna masala containing chicken which were cooked in tandoor. The dish reminded me of Amritsar. This was perfect Indian cooking. All the breads we tried were fluffy and and well cooked<br/ <br/ Price/Opinion Dishes were priced as per the standard of the hotel. I found them very reasonable considering the amount and varieties of dishes we tried. All the dishes were cooked to the perfection. So in a place like ECity where the option of good foods are very limited; Swenska offers a great option. Final verdict; must try. <br/ Again the rating is 4.5 and not 4.

Was a very plesant experience of candle light dinner.. We had a very good food and service as told and expected.. Special thanks for the staff for lovely experience and in particular bishwajith shankar..

The food is good, they serve good quality starters, Akram is very cooperative and good employee.. They serve very well. One of the best restaurant in ecity.
