Mountain Home Smokehouse Grill - Banff

Ate there twice, tried the house speciality: quarter chicken with ribs and mashed potatoes. All excellent, fresh not prefrozen microwaved food as most other places. Really good fall off the bone meat, tasty taters and fresh veggies. Next was pizza as recommended by the new kitchen manager ( real friendly and professional Andres). the pizza was really well put together, perfect thin crust, awesome taste. Would like to recommend that if they call it Cajun, use Cajun spice, or change it to Mexican Special since that is the spices used. Very good even though missed named :-). I hope they re-upholster the banquets soon. The prices are so low compared to other places in Banff that I hope it takes off soon as a great place to eat. Good service, friendly and polite. Served tea properly not like other places. Thanks Staff.

I didn't try the food at this restaurant so I can't comment on it, but the beer selection and patio area are excellent, especially considering the limited options in Canmore.

Great. It was quite disappointing. The Cowboys Lasagne Roll Up, on the other hand, was quite delicious. The service, root beer, and poutine were all excellent. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 4 stars.

Great place! The beer was delicious, especially the red beer, which was very smooth and easy to drink.
