Bidra med feedbackWe went to Vistas for dinner which was delicious and the views were breathtaking! The service was also quite impressive! The value for money is great because it is AYCE (including non-alcoholic drinks and well, obviously... the VIEWS! It is worth noting that the menu options are quite limited, though. The only complaint we have is that the cut fruit on the dessert table tasted on the side of rotten, as well as some of the charcuterie options on the cold cuts table. All in all, we still had a great time and enjoyed our dinner : Thank you for great service!
This was always a wonderful experience dining here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We had the pleasure of dining here for a few days during an unfortunate time during the 2013 floods and got to experience multiple meals. Quality service and such a variety of food. The only thing I am not sure about now is how much vegan foods they had or how accommodating they were able to be with any food restrictions. Beautiful views! Tons of space but can get busy.
Unforgettable food Unforgettable view I’m at the Banff Centre for meetings every couple years and have been coming for 18 years and the Vista Dining room is what wows our groups each time. Creative food, every day! Even the eggs each morning are so consistent: Creamy, fluffy, heaven. They often make fresh ice cream, it is always unforgettable. The staff are so polite and hospitable. But here’s the thing it’s called “Vistas” for a reason. Good gracious that view!!!! There’s a walkway outside the main doors coming in and each day, I love to watch people pause, look at the view and it’s so clear that in that moment they are grateful to be alive. *Secret tip if you’re in a big group. They put down pitchers of ice tea and lemonade but if you want a soda, just ask. Most people figure this out after a couple days. Let me save you that time.
Incredible!!! Food was top notch. Service was Fast and Friendly. Atmosphere and views made for a memorable meal.
On a work conference, so I have been up here consistently for three meals over the last week. I will do my best to add pictures and summarize the different pros and cons: View is absolutely amazing. If you don't go up and get a window seat, you're missing out. Mountains all around, for those from the meadows, it's fantastic. Breakfast is great. Small changes each morning, but the made-in-time omelettes are always a positive. Pastries are also very good. Lunch is generally good. They seem to really focus on cultural changes (Asian, Greek, European, American) and usually it's good. Some dishes aren't up to par however majority are quite nice. Dinner is alright. Of the three I've had there's been an Asian night, Greek, and a Mexican. The Greek night was very underwhelming while the Mexican was tremendous. Often the dinners are quite dry or greasy which makes it difficult to remain positive. I read a review regarding vegetarian options being lacking, however I think there are too many vegetarian options but that's personal thought. Desserts are good, but the large proportion of vegan options are upsetting for someone who is not. Cheesecakes are amazing, and fruit salad is always a positive. Salad bar is good with some nice options, but doesn't get restocked much. Soups are consistently good. Service is okay. Getting refills on drink pitchers can be difficult however as there are no dedicated servers to your table. Overall, I think the kitchen is stuck trying to cook overly fancy and pairing some foods which just should not be paired. Some of the foods, most specifically moussaka should never be in a buffet. It's something that is best fresh, and when it sits, gets too soggy with grease. All things considered however, I do think this is a great cost-effective option. Excellent food for a buffet level as well while trying to diversify their options.
