Bidra med feedbackLight dining room with tablecloths but an informal nautical vibe. Vegan dishes are creative and well executed with bold, fresh flavours, from the richly satisfying coconut sauce of the Malaysian curry to the linguine special which didn't skimp on the promised chilli. Dishes are beautifully presented on aquatic earthenware and decorated with a rainbow of leaves and edible pansies. Impressive dining in a scenic coastal setting.
The dining room is bright and airy, featuring tablecloths, yet maintains a casual nautical vibe. The vegan options are imaginative and flavorful, highlighted by the rich coconut sauce in the Malaysian curry and the Linguini Special, which promises a kick of chili. Each dish is artistically presented on rustic plates and garnished with a colorful array of leaves and edible flowers. Overall, the food is impressive and set in a beautiful coastal setting.
Renowned for its fresh fish straight from the boats just outside, this restaurant also offers excellent options for vegans. It has a pleasant atmosphere that appeals to the skippers of the North!
The Galley boasts a fantastic location by the harbour in Whitehills. During our visit, there was only one vegan option on the menu, but the butternut squash chili could easily be made vegan by simply leaving out the sour cream. The food was delicious, and the portions were quite generous. The environment felt COVID-safe, with good ventilation and waitstaff who regularly sanitized their hands. The service was both prompt and friendly.
This restaurant is renowned for its fresh fish, sourced directly from the boats just outside. It also offers an appealing selection for vegans, all within a lovely atmosphere that captures the essence of Northern coastal charm!
