Wrangling Grace Cafe - Bancroft

Good luck finding this place -it doesn't exist. So frustrating when you look for a restaurant while in a road trip and it's not there!!

If you're in the area, STOP HERE! Especially if it's broasted chicken night! For $12 we got a 2 piece chicken dinner with 2 sides, a soft warm roll, and homemade soup. It was quite possibly the best chicken I've ever devoured. Absolutely delicious!!!

Rode 2+ hours to try their tenderloin. Was not disappointed! Excellent flavor and thickness. The server was very friendly and welcoming, which provided a pleasant dining experience.

Very slow at lunch time. Wasn't busy and we weren't in a rush took over 30 minutes for a chicken strip basket to go. Ugh!!!

We had our first taste of the Wrangling Grace Cafe today for carry out and let me tell you it was so good...yummy! We had the broasted chicken wings and deep fried pickle spears. I had the Maple Mayo sauce and my wife had the BBQ sauce. Both were outstanding. The chicken was fresh and ever so tasty. Now on to the the deep fried pickles. The breading was seasoned perfectly! You got the taste of the breading and the tangy taste of the pickle. Just the right combination. By far the best restaurant food we have ever had in the state of Iowa. The Branding Iron and Mitchells which are also Northern Iowa restaurants are good but nothing can compare to the goodness of Wrangling Grace Cafe....oh, and the service was awesome also. Now I am full and time for a Wrangling Grace Nap .
