Godfather's Pizza - Briar Hill

I ordered the garlic prawns and was surprised to find cheese on them. Prawns and rice were served in a small bowl with a side of chips, which seemed unnecessary. The chips were overdone and lacked salt. My wife had the chicken Kiev, which was extremely dry. I didn't even try it. Her uncle had the scotch fillet, which was cooked well and served medium rare. The service was inconsistent and slow, despite there being plenty of staff. It seems like lack of experience is a problem here. In my opinion, having a front of house staff member would greatly improve the service. Thank you.

I went to this restaurant for dinner with some friends and was very disappointed. The staff was extremely rude, the service was nonexistent, and it took an hour and a half for our food to arrive. When it finally did, it was cold and tasteless, just thrown on the plate. To make matters worse, they overcharged us and refused to give us a refund. Their customer service skills were lacking, so I advise you not to waste your money on these people.

Dined at Godfathers on a quiet weekday. The staff were marvellously friendly and service was very good. The menu is confusing because the signature sauce is a curry with prawns and other things (at a pizza place? , and there is also pizza and pasta, and greek/turkish style lamb. We had scallops, a lamb plate, and 'chicken godfather '. There was nothing to complain about portions were generous and it was like home made comfort food. Taste and seasoning were adequate but very simple. Presentation varied the scallops were well done, the lamb plate nothing to complain about, but the chicken included rice and the godfather sauce and presented as a heap of whatever yet it did not detract from enjoyment. Maybe not the best in the area all up, but delivers decent food at value pricing.

I have ordered from this restaurant a few times and their portions are large and delicious. Great for takeout on a busy day.

Do not go to this restaurant!! I went with my partner and family and it was awful. They didn’t have a chef on so more than half of the menu was off limits. Our order was taken twice and they still managed to get it so wrong. After waiting 25 mins one of our meals appeared, and then about 10/15 mins after so do the other 2. Bearing in mind there was 5 of us. I had to go up and ask where the other two meals were and they didn’t even know about them, considering the order had been taken twice! So in the end I didn’t get my meal yet they still tried to charge for the meals we hadn’t even gotten or eaten. One of the pizzas we ordered came out with a piece of plastic in the cheese. Horrendous service and I’m pretty sure it was the waiter that was cooking our meals. What appeared to be the owner who was sitting at the front of the restaurant enjoying a glass of wine whilst his only 2 staff were running around taking orders and making them couldn’t be any more nonchalant if he tried. He knew our order had been severely messed up and when we went to pay he had conveniently disappeared so he didn’t have to deal with it. I am a chef and I can honestly it was the worst food and service I have ever experienced. If your only chef doesn’t turn up what would possess them to keep the restaurant open with someone with no cooking skills making meals and giving customers such a horrible experience that they will never return? Very dissatisfying as we had read such wonderful reviews about the place so were very keen to try it.
