Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is quaint and cozy but what sets it apart from others is it?s food and staff! They food is simply delicious and made me feel like I was eating my grandma?s cooking. The staff (Jasmin) was prompt, professional and just perfect! The onlyreason that I am not giving them a 5 is because the portion sizes were a tad smaller than what I/we were expecting but is thatreally a bad thing because most of us don?t eat the correct portion size anyways????? So let?s give them a 4.75. I highlyrecommend the cucumber lemonade-its so refreshing. My family loved the grits and salmon, the French toast, and okay we had alittle of everything and ???? It all!
Breakfast was amazing, as you can see from the before and after of the James Brown. Perfect. Drove up from DC so we could get there when it opened. Great service and staff were warm and friendly. It was a beautiful morning. Thank you. Will drive upagain just to get breakfast. Worth the trip.
The restaurant is very clean and cozy with a great location. The service is excellent and the food is outstanding. It is also a Black Owned establishment. I had the blackened salmon with creamy grits, turkey bacon, and a mint lemonade, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience.
Delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by my dining experience in contrast to the 1-star reviews. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kind. The restaurant's interior is cozy and cute. I appreciate the house rules that enhance the intimate dining atmosphere. We tried the Raggedy Anne and the Breakfast sandwich, devouring everything in sight. Despite initially thinking the portions were small, they turned out to be just right.
This restaurant has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere with great drinks and service. It may look small from the outside, but once you walk in, you'll see that it is quite large and open. The portion sizes are just right, so you don't have to overeat, and the food is incredibly tasty. The recipes have been perfected, and it's definitely a hidden gem worth trying. Just remember to follow the rules.
