L'Envol Cote Plage - Balma

Apparently this is one of the most popular up-market bar/restaurants in Toulouse, but I really don't see why. Sure, the unique setting beside the Aérodrome and the beach decoration of the interior are cool, but almost everything else about this place was disappointing from the...moment we arrived. First off, unless you drive a Porche, you won't be parking in front of the door, instead being swiftly guided towards the layman's car park a couple of 100 metres down from the bar. When we arrived, the welcome was non-existant, with several waiters and waitresses visible around the bar, but nobody bothered enough to come and show us to a table. When the waiter eventually took our order, I was brought a pint of flat Heineken in a plastic glass at the ridiculous price of 8€. When I asked if I could have a glass I was told that glasses weren't allowed on the sand, even though we were sitting at a table outside the sandy area. When the rest of our group arrived, we moved to the restaurant part of the bar. The service here was better and our order was taken relatively quickly. When the food did arrive however, I was left wondering why I was paying 18€ for a mediocre burger I could have gotten in the city for half the price. The bar and restaurant were really busy and you could tell this was a place to be seen. But with a combination of over-priced food, over-priced drink and underwhelming service, I'll never be seen here again.

Such a gem! Great place to hangout in the evening, fantastic music and the service... Well let me tell you one thing... The place was packed but the stuff manage to bring me a table from, I don't know were... Fantastic!!!!! I think it's time...to enjoy myself now!

Meal in group, quite disappointed by the service, not very kind, rather slow, ex we went there several times and each time the same reflection: why does the coffee arrive before desserts? Knowing it's long before desserts. Knowing that we said we wanted dessert before or rather good meal together. Sometimes the risotto lacks a little cooking. but the rest is good, the tuna tataki is really excellent, nice presentation of dishes it is better to book

Mediocre restaurant. we order 2 glasses of rose announced at the price of 4.50 the unit. and we find ourselves with 12 euros of rosé for 6 euros the unit. all his car we're asked with or without ice. and for a glass of rosé with ice cubes they take the initiative to put rosé pool. Obviously more expensive...We ask for a duck magret missing bowl, there were more. (what they did not specify). We're asking for a plate of cod, it's the same story, no cod. So, already that the card is not very diverse, it lacks a quarter of the menu. finally good. salad at exorbitant price for what happened. Three tomatoes and two cheese. the only positive point is that we were served quickly. I don't recommend this restaurant. neither for prices, nor for the quality of products.

Medium way of appearance the dishes are correct in taste also but nothing that justifies the price I find expensive for the meal taste after the frame is very nice
