The Wild Atlantic Lodge - Ballyvaughan

Once again we had a very pleasant evening here. The food was lovely and the staff couldn’t be better. Gluten free wasn’t a problem. Bathrooms were immaculate.

Dropped into the Snug Bar: waited for the barman/owner to appear which he eventually did with a look that told me the one ting he didn't like in his pub was paying customers. I asked politely if I could bring in my dog. His reaction couldn't have been ruder if I'd requested entry for a herd of wild elephants. I gladly left.

Food very good freshly cooked the deserts were lovely all our 8 meals were really nice will book again and reasonable priced

We live fairly locally and have visited the restaurant 3 times in the past 6 weeks. Food is delicious and plentiful. Great friendly service, will be back.

We came here for an evening meal but unfortunately were both disappointed. The chicken looked greasy and unappetizing and the vegetables appeared to have been microwaved and all tasted of cauliflower. The salmon was more appealing but was served with a bright yellow sauce and undercooked vegetables. The crumble wasn't like any crumble we have eaten before and may have been microwaved. It was soft and soggy.
