Oranmore Tea Room - Ballymena

Simply the best accommodation we have experienced. Spotless and delightfully appointed room. Professional,friendly staff. Gorgeous breakfast. Husband really enjoyed the special whiskey and craic with Fintan. Will be back again soon.

I recently revisited this restaurant and once again remembered why I love it so much! Despite not having been there since before Covid, I was pleased to find that the food and service were even more delightful than before. I brought four friends from the US to experience my favorite place, and we even stayed overnight. The accommodations were top-notch, possibly even better than some of the best venues I have visited worldwide. The attention to detail, such as the rubber duck in the bathroom, was a nice touch. The food was absolutely sensational, as always. The restaurant is family-owned and the warm welcome I received made me feel like a long lost family member. Gerard, Fiona, and their family are some of the nicest people I have met. My friends had a great time and now understand why Oranmore is my favorite place. I highly recommend a visit, even though they don't have a Michelin star (no, I don't have shares or any relation to the family!).

The restaurant staff gave us a lovely warm welcome and were amazing. The food was incredibly delicious. The reception room had a cozy open fire, and the dining room was beautifully decorated. It was a wonderful dining experience near Ballymena.

This restaurant is located in an old and outdated house with contrived decor. The bathroom has unnecessary decorations and lacks essential items. The breakfast includes supposedly locally produced yogurt, even though it is actually Mueller brand. The buffet table offers a variety of cereal options. However, the hot breakfast lacks freshly made bread and the toast provided was barely warm. At a price of £160 for one night, the experience was disappointing and overpriced.

Stayed here for a wedding and couldn't fault it the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us! The breakfast was delicious, so filling and with lots of great options. The bed was very comfy a lovely hot shower in our room. Would definitely stay again thank you!
