The restaurant rooms require a renovation as the basin plug hole is rusty and the overall appearance is shabby. Despite this, the rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable, with crisp white sheets. The TV remote is not working properly, even though the batteries appear to be fine. Additionally, the TV kept turning on by itself.

Location is great if you're taking a ferry. The building is old and worn out inside and outside. Interior needs urgent refurbishment; hallways very really terrible, rooms a bit better, but still dirty and had this not very nice smell. Room and bathroom were both good size, beds were good and comfortable, but the pillows were terrible. No minibar or fridge inside, just a small TV with poor selection of channels. There is absolutely no noise insulation, you can hear everything inside and outside which is very unpleasant in the middle of the night. Restaurant and bar area were nicer than the rest of the B&B and there was a lot of seating when we were there. Food was ok although I would point out there's no beans or mushrooms in fry up and everything tasted quite dry. Coffee usually terrible as everywhere in Ireland and UK. Would not stay here again. Reply to the owner: My reviews from last week or so are mostly 4 and 5 star ratings. The acommodation I stayed in the day after yours, got a well deserved 4 stars and it was only 25€ dearer. If you focused more on hygene and less on nonsense replies to your customers, maybe your B&B wouldn't be the dirtiest and smelliest place in the county. I'm taking another star of your rating as I wasn't aware of your comunnication skills, congratulations...

The restaurant is charming, clean, and well-kept. The woman at the front desk was very welcoming. The beds were cozy and comfortable. It's conveniently situated just a short walk away from the harbor. Checking out early was no problem.

Really nice hotel. we were there when we had an early morning next morning. great customer service. we were too late for traffic, but they made sure we knew where the keys were.
