Bidra med feedbackI went with a friend to alfies in the ashe and was extremely disappointed about the service and the food. we were not given the menu, as the waitress suspects that we get their popular dessert. we were asked if we were to get the underwriting court and we said we were thinking about how we entered and did not give a menu and sat. we never got a menu or other service, as we were suddenly served to the court. we were not asked what size we wanted and were left in the dark, how much it cost. the court was hot and we were not warned before, so this led to us to burn our hands. her signature keksschale was very bad and sick sweet. we will not come back.
Great desserts! Had the hot cookie with caramel sauce and it was to die for! Great to see some slimming options on the menu too
I’ve visited Alfie’s at the Ashe many times and I’m delighted that I chose to visit so many times Lovely staff and such a comfortable building
We popped in for brunch, ended up with a taste sensation. My husband wanted to try the mushrooms on toast, I went straight for the roast lamb. The superb Maitre d’ brought an extra fork as I looked so longingly at the mushrooms. They had...melted Brie on top with mustard seeds with pea leaves. Oh my. It was a very good plate of food. The roast lamb, gravy and perfectly creamed potatoes were to die for, I savoured every mouthful. Even the reception staff helped to describe the wonderful mono photos that so interested me. Loved the place. It was class but so well priced. for perfect roast pork!
I went to this restaurant for lunch and I have to say, they have the best chowder in the city and the best soda bread. It was hot, creamy, and full of delicious seafood. We traveled to Tralee from the United Kingdom to visit family for a few days, and we will definitely be coming back for another amazing experience.
