Lantern Chinese - Ballina

Can't fault the service. Ordered over the phone and was ready to collect exactly when they said it would be. And even called me to tell me it was ready. Not full 5 stars as I can't say the food was brilliant. Like many Chinese take aways it was a bit gloopy and oily. But after 5 Guinesses it did very nicely.

Had a basic 3in1 with boiled rice. Skimpy on the sauce, but it was tasty. Prawn crackers were decent and not greasy. Chicken balls we ok also.

This is a Chinese restaurant trying to up their game to charge Dublin prices. The food was OK but not brilliant nothing really to complain about apart from the price of it. The restaurant itself is very nice as are the staff very professional... to pay €19 for a chicken curry and rice is really rediculous. Reduce your prices fill your restaurant and create an atmosphere.

Always my go to for a Chinese takeaway. Food is always very good and staff are welcoming and friendly. Would recommend.
