The Provincial Ballarat

I have been to The Provincial Hotel several times and always had a great experience, so I decided to book a room for my 'Christmas in July' themed 60th Birthday Party. It was a huge success! The menu was tailored to the theme, the tables were beautifully set, and the staff were fantastic. They allowed us to add our own personal touches before our guests arrived. The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing, and the music we brought played in the background. Everyone left happy, and I had the best night celebrating my birthday. I highly recommend this venue; the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I was smiling all night long and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you to everyone involved!

We had a fantastic experience at The Provincial for our engagement party! The gorgeous upstairs function room was perfect for our event on Friday night. The food was plentiful and delicious, with everyone raving about it. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our night even better. The renovations were impressive, making the venue a beautiful place for any event. The downstairs bar was a great spot for drinks after our party. We also had lunch there over the weekend and highly recommend the croque monsieur. We are excited to come back to The Provincial again soon.

Fantastic! What an elegant and spacious room. Clean, fresh and a touch of class. Just the way we like it. Bright and light with the plantation shutters allowing total control. Staff were friendly, and check in and out was with ease. Only negative, we only could stay one night! Will stay here again for sure, should we pass through Ballarat once more. Oh, and we’ve already spread our thoughts with our friends and suggested this would be the place to stop for a day or two. Well done on providing the traveller with a touch of luxury at a very reasonable price.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at The Provincial and cant wait to go back. Amazing rooms. So spacious and tastefully done . Loved everything about the place. The staff are fantastic . Ainslee Sam went above and beyond making us feel welcome and helped make our stay even more enjoyable . Ainslee also recommended some great restaurants around Ballarat and loved every one of them.

Amazing family dinner in the function room. They catered to ALL dietary requirements (vegan and gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian) and the meals were beautiful. The staff were fantastic.
