Bidra med feedbackWe love this place! We love coming here for breakfast. They finally reopened inside and the food is even better than they had their exterior. We love their chilaquiles, handmade tortillas, cafe de olla, fresh juices and menudo. You can't go wrong with anything you order. This is a legit mom and pop shop (hole in the wall) with authentic taste. The interior is small, parking can become crazy, and it will probably wait one, but it is so worth it. This place is specialized in real Mexican dishes, so make sure you order Mexican food here. The ladies are also very nice.
It is difficult to stand out in a crowded Mexican food campaign, but this place is a jewel!! We could try everything on this super long menu, but everything we had was good.
Update to 10/31/20 Wow. The food tasted even better today than I remember. Not sure why. It looks like the owner's cooking again by smaller employees (probably by Covid), but everything was on the point. Menudo, which I usually did not love here, but believed was delish. Had much more taste than before. The owner even asked me how I wanted it (with or without pata, with or without maiz, etc.) that I did not remember the waiting staff that has ever asked so that it must be the difference. Anyway, I'm sorry if she had to let people go, but the attention to detail was amazing. I also had a taco de beech that was amazing and my GF had the Chilaquiles with Milanesa, which was also on point. I hope this place remains fully occupied, but also hope that it will maintain its standards. Don't get me wrong, eating was always amazing, but was on another level when she takes the order and cooking. ———— Large small hole in the wall with great food and service. All I tried here was great and the service is no longer available. The owner is always here and make sure everything is perfect. On this trip I tried the wet Carnitas Burrito with green sauce, which was very delicious. A little too much rice for me, but I think they wanted to make us happy in a way, as my GF (which is regular) always ordered their dishes with double rice as they did this time with their chickens Enchiladas. Next time, I'll make the adjustment.
Today for breakfast and the Chilaquiles Verde with Asada. Very nice dish mainly mixed with grilled onions. The place was small on the inside, but clean. The parking situation in the back was not the best, but when working.
I would have to say that they have the best chilaquiles around as well as the quesadillas, I think just the food in general has a homestyle feel altogether with flavor included so if you want a dope breakfast spot this is the spot, just make sure you go after me so I don't have to wait hahaha
