Jimmy John's - Baldwin Park

Online states this store is open until 9pm. Placed a mobile order for 5:30pm pick up. The store cancelled my order and called to tell me they close at 4pm. When I questioned this, the employee stated the manager doesn’t see enough evening profits, but won’t change their hours online because they don’t want corporate to know. So here you go Jimmy Johns corporate, now you know!

It was a slow day, which was nice because we took our time to see the entire menu. They have great, fresh food. Service was fast and polite. The giant is 16 .. I ordered the Unwich option where the sandwich is lettuce wrapped. The restaurant was also immaculate. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Staff was impolite. As someone who doesn’t go to Jimmy Johns they did not lead me through the ordering process, gave me a sandwich with just meat. Did not label each sandwich so I had to open each one to see what was inside. When I went back in, it was clear that the staff thought I was ridiculous. They wouldn’t take back the sandwich without any tomatoes or lettuce on it and laughed when I asked them to throw it away. Gave them a dollar tip prior to them making the sandwich and, for two sandwiches it was $36. Total came to $38. Would not have tipped if I had known what kind of service they were providing. Currently sitting in the parking lot writing this review. Date 11/13/2023 at 1:40pm. Was also previously advised against coming here. As for the sandwich, it’s mid. Light on meat and at $16 a pop. Not worth it in the slightest. Currently I am only able to tip small amounts because everywhere requires a tip and I pay more than my fair share of bills. I would have left a larger tip if service had granted after the fact. Now it’s just a loss of $1 lol.

This branch is just average; in some aspects, below average. I ordered a spicy Italian and asked for extra jalapeño. Unfortunately, when the order came, only got 3 pieces, 3! Also, I used to be able to use a gift card to order, and now I cannot. So I asked the order taker about how would rewards be accumulated, and how to add I'm the gift card. He did not understand nor seem to care about what I was asking. This is not what customer service is about!

Much to my dismay this branch was closed today, despite being listed as opened this Saturday. They have a broken door and have had it broken for what? Like a year? I and 5 other customers stopped by for a sandwich and nothing. No lights, no employees, no signs of life. I assume this one is dead. Smh Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
