Haru Japanese Cuisine - Baldwin Park

Really good food and service, I was here three times and tried something else each time, all the entrées were delicious.

We were mostly served by the owner who was incredibly attentive and very kind. He hand made our sushi and it was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Super fresh and exactly the way we ordered it. I will be back to this place every time I’m in California!

Literally the best shrimp tempura !!!!! Crispy on the shell even for Togo !! I was surprised by their food ! I ordered shrimp tempura, dynamite bowl and dancing eel roll! Their sushi just taste like what I had in little Tokyo !! Very legit !!

The food we ordered is average. Smaller portions than what I'm used to. The curry does not have chicken in it just the basic carrots, potatoes, onions the consistency was more watery. And it would have been better if they separated the katsu bc it wasn't crispy when we got home.

I've ordered takeout and dined in. The food is good and the workers are friendly. The nigiri and sashimi are nice portions of fish. The rolls are smaller than other places but I find it's because they don't put a thick layer of rice. It's nice to have a place like this in Baldwin Park. It's super close to my parents house.
