Julian Restaurant y Parrilla - Balcarce

Two. visit here in 6 years has changed nothing. at first filled and loud in a Sunday lunchtime. senior waiter, totally charming, has worked here for more than 50 years! Eating was super! pasta and beef chorizo were error-free. the staff was friendly and helpful. a lot of choice in the small but beautiful town of Balcarce....but this place must be the best! quite expensive compared to mar del plata, but every peso worth!

The restaurant was recommended by the staff at the hotel balcarce 646. the waitress was very pleasant and efficient. the kitchen made a mistake and prepped a chicken dish instead of steak. we sent them back and then asked to cancel order. the waitress said it was okay to cancel. they win a common escape and desert. I've got a bill for two escapes and asked me to talk to manager. manager refused to talk to us to solve problems and insisted by the bad waitress that we pay for both participants. that has left us a terrible feeling about the place. we paid bill plus tipp, but not for entree and informed waiter where we were and suggested manager contact us there to discuss. manager called our hotel and said he would call the police. funny!

The lomo a la pimienta was not good. the juice had a very bad taste and was not to eat. milanesas are huge, so beware and share them!

Calidad en los platos y el servicio. Porciones abundantes. Clima familiar, ambiente pulcro, vale la pena visitarlo.

Cenamos temprano por no tener reserva al rato ya estaba lleno. Muy buena la comida y la atención. Comimos un exquisito bife de chorizo con fritas. Recomendable.
