Bidra med feedbackI am not at all crazy about soups, BUT this one I cannot forget. I even had a dream about eating it several days later I want the recipe very badly.
We had dinner on Sunday February 3, waiter was Milton D, and we had to ladies from Italy as our guest. The total was 138.80 and I added a tip of 18.70 on my credit card charge. The waiter came back telling me the following: Sir, the tip is not added here, you are supposed to put at least 21 in this case or has something not been OK? I added some cash. I go to this place very often as I live near by and many times with guest too, since nearly ten years. I never had such a rude behavior of a waiter in any restaurant ever! They will never see me again and I will not -as I used to- send anybody there.
I had the veal tortellini with a light cream tomato sauce. Or, rather, I was served a lot of sauce and overcooked tortellini. Very disappointing. Service was polite and efficient and it’s a great spot for people watching.
I think the food here in general is very good. I always get the same thing which is the salad with Portobello mushrooms, arrugula, and parmesan cheese. It is terrific. They marinate the mushrooms and they are awesome. Given that it is in Bal Harbour, the prices are quite reasonable. A nice location and pleasant to sit outside, even though off the parking area.
Service is always good. The food was too salty, but fair. We had no problem getting a big table on Friday night.
