Smitten - Bakersfield

We had a small baby shower on the patio. They were fantastic about letting us put up small decor and even put the cake in the fridge for us. The food is 10/10, a tad pricey but their small menu of appetizers and dinner allows for great quality. Try the Mediterranean flat bread and cheese board. I had the Ribeye for dinner. Peppercorn sauce was ????.

I have found Smitten to be my go-to spot for dinner, despite living 40 minutes away! I appreciate that groups can share plates for a family-style dining experience. My partner and I have tried various items from the dinner menu and have found everything to be fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Kudos to the team and the chef! The coffee is also excellent.

My mother had been eager to visit this restaurant, so we went last week and were very let down. The staff were friendly and kind, but the food was not good. We ordered two cappuccinos and two pie slices - one strawberry and one blueberry. Unfortunately, they were cold and tasted like they had been refrigerated, even though we arrived early. Considering the high prices and the buzz surrounding this place, we expected the food to be at least warm. Regrettably, we did not feel like we got our money's worth during our visit to this establishment.

Nice aesthetic. The food was good, so was the service. Spacious and clean. There's also an outdoor space to gather and eat.

I went to this restaurant with two friends. The line for brunch was not too long, and the menu had typical options for a modern brunch spot in terms of prices. The atmosphere was pleasant and there was a bar available. Plan to spend around $20 or more per person. I chose the breakfast bagel ($6) and a matcha latte. The food was okay, but I mainly went for the overall experience.
