Kan Pai - Bakersfield

I and my family love their food, a bit expensive, but someone has to pay for the head. We go at least once a month. I recommen go to Costco and buy a gift card for this place and with it, it will save you around 20 dollars. Costco has gift cards for approx. 79.99 for 100 dollars for this place. It's mediocre food. It is basically a bar with overpriced mediocre food. Sushi is missing something. No taste. The chicken tasted like it was directly from the freezer without spices. The baked shells were amazing, but $10 for 3. Overall, it is only a place to socialize. If you want the Teppen experience, you need to call in time. The waiter was 10/10, he was very attentive and well maintained. Unlike this very lack of pleasure for the price.

Birthday party dinner! Service was great, even with many enthusiastic children, the servers were patient and seemed to enjoy them and integrate them into the experience!

It was my birthday dinner. I had been with an excellent experience before COVID. Not so much this time. The only nice employee was the Teppan cook... if we didn't go out for him. The host was incredibly rude. The server has instructed one of my guests more on their cheque because it has charged them for the account of another. They brought me a high chair that was sticky and didn't work to keep a child. It was not busy, but they seemed through our requests for placement and served with a reservation per week in advance. Very disappointed. Maybe. I am an educated consumer, but regardless of that, I will never go back.

Came to have dinner with a few girlfriends and the atmosphere was great, very busy for a Monday night so we sat at the bar while we waited foe our table, we got a cosmo and the drink was fantastic. We had the gyoza for appetizer and it is the best I?ve had thus far. For dinner we had the chicken teriyaki with tempura shrimp and veggies, the chicken was cooked just right and the teriyaki sauce was tasty. The tempura veggies and shrimp were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. My friends said their sushi was fantastic. The waitress was so mindful and checked on us several times despite being extremely busy. I?ll be back again!
