The Express - Baker City

We tried to visit today for lunch but sadly they were closed. Not sure if it's permanent or just for the day and the hours are wrong here

We stopped in Baker and found this gem. My Rueben was brined for 48 hours and hand cut fabulous! My husband's French Dip was cooked perfectly and with all the right seasoning. Definitely recommend this train car restaurant.

One of the few pleasures of long interstate highway slogs is finding local, hidden gem restaurants along the way. This is one of them! Looks a bit tattered on the outside, but inside you’ll find gourmet burgers that put most big city “gourmet” places to shame. And fries to die for. Don’t settle for chain fast food when this place is only a few feet away.

Just had the Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap special for lunch and it was every bit as good as the burgers!!! You kids pit out some good groceries!! thanks!!

Generous portions of delicious food served by a great server/ owner! I had the reuben and it was fantastic!
