Bidra med feedbackAlways the first breakfast stop when returning to Bainbridge. I think it has improved since last year.
Pesto and two sausage omelet!!! Do I really need to say more....oh let's not forget the daily fresh variety of muffins. I love the fact I can get surprised each time I go in with a new muffin!
Basically the only place in Kitsap open for brunch on Sundays with decent vegan options! The tofu scramble has some tasty marinated tofu chunks with spinach and mushrooms, but I don’t like mushrooms so got them to sub in olives. They did charge me an extra $1 for that. It comes with perfectly cooked and steaming hash browns on the side and your choice of toast or muffin. I specified no butter for my toast, but it did come out totally dry. I was fine with that for the most part, but had finished my food with half a piece left and half wasn’t going to eat it dry, some jam would’ve been nice! I would’ve asked, but we were in a rush. They also initially forgot to bring my hash browns, but quickly remedied that when I asked about it. The place is busy. We arrived at 11:10 am in a Sunday and though there was no line, all tables were full. We lucked out as a group of three was just leaving, but it took a few minutes to turn over the table. Once we sat we ordered quickly and coffee came out fast (they have oat milk), but then the food took quite a while. Since we needed to leave, we went in and asked to pay around 12:40 pm. There is a nice little outdoor seating area for when the weather is decent! It’s October and we were fine outside, I imagine they close that at some point. We did notice that whenever the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry arrived, there was a mad rush of people and a line would form, so if you’re not coming off the ferry, would highly recommend you look at the ferry schedule to avoid right after one arrives. My friends (not vegan) got the BLT Benedict and breakfast burrito and said they were good and filling. “Perfectly cooked poached eggs with runny yolk and no slimy whites.”
Excellent breakfast, possibly the best we had in seattle. I had the omelette with sausage and other good things and the.hash browns with a strawberry muffin (amazing) and refillable coffee, large portions. we drove with the ferry to bainbridge and the first station was here, it was full, but we have put down our names and have returned to 20. beautiful and friendly staff and great breakfast. highly recommended.
I have worked many years in kitchens and knows how challenging a job it is, so I don't check restaurants in the rule. that means that I brought my daughter to the Streamliner dinner this morning so that we can do something special today before school. the service was good, eating came quite fast, the only problem I had was my order. I ordered cookies and gravy, which is a fairly simple and easy to prepare dish. there was only something wrong with the serious part of the teller. I rarely leave eating uneaten, but I want to eat more than a few bites of eating. they would have been better off the shelf with a cheap dose-sick than what they served me this morning. I assume that this was a curse event and will eat there again, because I have made good experiences in the past, but this time was not a good experience for me.
