Teresita's - Bago Bantay

Your kare kare is delicious. Just ask for additional bagoong. The staff is very efficient. Unfortunately, they always run out of fried lumpia. I eat here when I feel like home cooking. Attractively priced. I will definitely come again.

This is a small place that is at the very end of the ground floor of the SM outbuilding near a clinic. Small but nice. I was very happy with my chopsuey - crispy vegetables, delicious dish. And of course there is a fab version of white / creamy halo halo (you know, like Razon and just as good). I ate too much and felt like waddling out the door.

Kare kare is amazing! The place is calm and comfortable. The staff were nice to us. Tapa Tocino is okay, Kaldereta was good. Pero yung kare kare talaga, amazing !!

Loved her Chicharon and HALO HALO! Man, Razon has some serious competition. This place won my husband over. He is now loyal to Tita Teresita. On the other hand, I have to visit a few more times to be fully converted. But no complaints for our first visit! :) Plus, the staff were so friendly and kind. That alone will make me want to try the entire menu.

We stopped here for a quick lunch before watching a movie. Ordered the daing na bangus and dinuguan. Not bad, but it was kind of "bitin". What pulled me into it, of course, was the halo halo. Like clouds of caramel in your mouth. Every time.
