What a pleasure to eat here. between us we had beet and flower soup, the salat plate (which was a necessary part of the meal) made of salat with a beautiful dressing, surgical mushroom and lynge vegetables, rice with a...oh so good curry sauce, salmon and a sweet red wine and later coffee and pantancotta filled with a sauce. did I just say and excellent? but making it all the better was damien, totally excited to share it with friends and new friends. he loved to present and talk about eating and to know about us (either as a packed house). he even sang quietly to the music while cooking and serving. we never rate a place, but every aspect of this experience was perfect. I wanted to convince him that canberra would be a great place for him to open a similar restaurant.

We booked a table for 6 people and I was the only vegan. the owner is also the cook/water and we told him when we make the reservation that a vegan meal was needed. they can easily have a vegetarian meal, since the basic is chalk, rice and vegetables, but all sauces are made with honey. he made a separate sauce only for me and the whole dish was spectacular! they can also choose the suppe of the day as accompaniment, and he chose a vegan suppe for everyone. the chef is really open to veganism and like to talk about it. he is passionate about eating and very curious: he uses all kinds of spicy and crumble that make every dish quite surprising and incredible at the same time. all the aromes are well balanced. there are not so many vegan options in the city, so this is a really good surprise!

Alors qu'est ce que c'est au juste que cet endroit..une épicerie fine..un bar...une brasserie?C'est tout ça réuni + un accueil avec le large sourire du patron!Conçu comme un home sweet home, on s'y sent bien dès que l'on franchi la porte.Le concept est génial et astucieux.Tout ce que vous prenez pour le brunch, vous le trouverez sur place, si l'envie de ramener chez vous une partie de votre expérience sur place.Tout est 100% naturel, et ne provient que de petits producteurs qui proposent des produits bio et qui ont du goût!Il y'a même la possibilité de prendre un verre dehors puisque quelques chaises et tables ont été aménagé devant la vitrine.Bref...j'adore.
