Lech Da Sompunt - Badia

This small lake has a pretty situation, with chalets and one hotel. It was a pleasant place to stop on our walk.

We called into Lech da Sompunt on our first day in La Villa when out for a short walk. It sits by a pretty lake and the day was really warm, On this day we did have a packed lunch with us so we only had a coffee stop, but would recommend to anyone in the area to check this Hotel out as it has fantastic views on elevated position.

Crisp table linen and attractively prepared local fresh food in this popular lake side restaurant. It was a big holiday day, so perhaps more crowded than normal. I started with fresh pasta and local porcini mushrooms delicious. Trout from the nearby lake, very fresh, but a wee bit bland. We tried 2 desserts, but they were a bit sweet for me. Fabulous to look at, and my companions enjoyed them.
