Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I enjoy the veggie wrap, quinoa salad, and vegan desserts available at this restaurant. This review was updated on August 20, 2022.
I visited this restaurant twice, and my first visit left me unimpressed. I had the choice between a smoothie bowl or a modified spinach scramble wrap, as well as some to-go bars. I opted to customize my dish with quinoa, spinach, avocado, and tomatoes. However, on my second visit, I tried the vegan cranberry apple meat scenes which were delicious. I also indulged in a magic bar, which was excellent.
In an area where options for vegan dining are scarce, Highwheeler Café was a pleasant surprise. While looking for just coffee and toast, we found a variety of freshly baked vegan pastries, delicious vegan slices (try the "magic" place), a vegan quinoa roll, and a couple of lunch options that can be made vegan. Everything is freshly made on site, plant-based milk options are available, and the owners are friendly and accommodating. Whether you are driving the Cabot Trail or exploring it on foot, if you are looking for plant-based options, Highwheeler Café is a must-visit spot.
I was twice in this restaurant and the first day, I was not impressed. I had the options of a smoothie shell or a modified spinat scramble wrap and some to go bars. I modified the package to have quinoa, spinat, avocado and tomato. on the second day, they had vegan cranberry apple-ferax scenes. it was very good. they had also called a magic bar that was excellent.
In an area where vegan options (only vegan restaurants) are few and far between (during our travel here, one day we had to go to breakfast in the subway and lunch in the co-op,) highwheeler caffe was a breath of fresh air. we stopped there, hoping for coffee and toast and discovered freshly baked vegan scenarios, a few delicious vegan slices (the magical place is to die for) a vegan quinoa roll, and one or two lunch elements that can be veganized. everything is fresh and made on the premise, plant milk are available, the owners are friendly and accommodating. if they drive or drive the cabot trail, or part of it to foot, and they are plant-fueled, this is a place to put in their satnav.
