Bidra med feedbackIn Bad Kreuznach we noticed that we have never been on the Kauzenburg. So we made another trip to the high-lying castle with restaurant and hotel business. The view over Bad Kreuznach is magnificent. The restaurant has a less magnificent reputation. So it went down again. The former Knights' estate Bangert, below the Kauzenburg, has been extensively restored in recent years and is largely protected by monument. An idyllic place is preserved here. Parking is available. We will take a look at the adjacent Schlosspark next time. In addition to museums, Café Puricelli is also home. The table “homemade cakes from own confectionery” placed at the entrance door is stacked deep. Not only cakes, but the finest cakes and chocolates spoil the sweets here. Wedding cakes seem to be the horse of the confectioner Ralf Stocksieker. On 27. And 28.02.16 the café invites you to the wedding cake and photography exhibition. Breakfast and some hearty dishes complete the offer. We entered the small and cozy café. The female operation was still in conversation with the laptop, so much the welcome was quite poor. My husband chose a piece of kiwitorte from the refrigerator to € 2,90 and a cup of coffee to € 2,20. Since I was not hungry at all, I was content with a glass of Latte Macchiato to € 3.00. Tort and drinks were served. The airy Sahnetorte tasted my husband very well. Crispy ground and a dough interlayer. Kiwi and cream don't go (will be bitter), I always thought and for this reason would not have dared to this combination. The confectioner hand united Kiwi and cream here. The coffees, brewed in an Italian murder machine, very good. The café is divided into 2 rooms and modern but cosy furnishings. All well maintained and clean, even the toilets. In summer you can also sit outside. After this little break we asked for the bill. The dishes were removed only after the number. With a total of 6 guests, we would not have felt harassed by a little more attention.
