When we went through the museum and discovered the sign of the place where it should be read: Roman food and then: Bratwurst, we had to smile. Sounds like: Snow White carving, as in any other destination. Customer scavengers, we thought. But also hunger goes to Bratwurst, which we ordered with Römerbrot. And behold, there was actually an extraordinary sausage filled with whole pine nuts and unusual spices with an incredibly tasty, even strangely spiced bread. We were thrilled. Trust grew when we ordered the homemade lentil soup that also kept what it promised. Well seasoned and delicious. Before loud enthusiasm and also because of the very friendly person, we as Souvinians took us from the delicious sausage in smoked form and a bread at home. At home we were just as enthusiastic and very sad that you always have to go to the museum to visit this place. That was a trip to our taste!
Do not suck food, ambience and beer (Romerpils). There are many things up there. But would always eat there.
Very friendly service, you can sit very nice inside or outside, food is fresh and delicious.
Regional and fresh cuisine. It is worth the trip to the Römerkastell
