Schweizerhof - Bad Hofgastein

We've been preparing for dinner here, but we've just turned around and dived. Immediately taken over by the environment and atmosphere, plus very helpful staff who found us a table, although we did not book and despite busy (always a good sign) Great food, a bit of sniper with the manager and good beer a great dinner in the evening

I don't know why it takes us so long to write a review of this place, we love it. The food is wonderful and always delicious. The wine list is great that last time we tried a really nice smokey red, ask Darius the manager to try it. The service is wonderful, it is the type of location that treats you like a regular on your first time. Darius and one of the chefs (his name was Markus or something) are just so friendly. I couldn't tell you what's better, the food, the service or just the vibes.

We were a company of 8. Our reservation was for 20h and we all sat about 20,15h. It took about 2 hours to prepare the food and half of it was already cold. You have forgotten the drinks several times. I wouldn't recommend that.

We visited on a Saturday evening, hadn’t booked but they squeezed us in as we were early. The waitress was fantastic, really efficient, remembered all of our order on a table of 5 that’s great. The atmosphere was really cosy and food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place

Three years ago I said that Gastein Alm was the best place in Bad Hofgastein. No longer so. This place beats it hands down. A small cozy place, not too many tables so a reservation is a good idea. The service is goods, quick and efficient. The food is very good. Try the lamb, the cordon blei with sheeps cheese, round it off with their own version of a Kaiserschmarren. Highly recommended
