Port Louis - Bad Harzburg (Innenstadt)

What a chaotic place!! First waiting 15 minuttes for menu. When getting the menu I ordered water and beer, and water arrived soon enough. But no beer. Then another wait for about 10 minuttes, before I could order. And I asked for the beer again. 5-10 minuttes later, she came running back, because she had forgotten what I had ordered! Then about 20 minuttes wait for the food, still no beer, and I had even been inside and ask for it. They did in the end come with a beer, the wrong one, but first after I had already asked for the bill (food was eaten), what a joke!! And it was not even a really busy night (early evening 7th august) Even if the food tastet well enough, I will never return to this mad house.

I've been to the restaurant 3 times in my staying in Bad Harzburg , I had the daily menu , you get a soup and a main dish , I had fish with vegetables and risotto with mushrooms, i dont know what was in the soup but is was really : . On Sunday i had a really nice fried Trout fish with potatoes and salad,And my last time I had a cake and coffee offer in the afternoon. Service was always friendly and quick . I really like the style of the restaurant i felt pleasant.

I have had a nice business lunch there and I was very happy with food and service. Recommend Port Louis.

Superb quality schnitzel.. And the apfel strudel was lovely. Cosy venue. Service was friendly for German standards.
