Schmelmer Hof Bad Aibling

Great place to stay. The town is beautiful and all the people that live there are so helpful. the Hotel Spa and dinning are all located under that same roof and you have access to all. The hotel has a very distinct looks to it, very, German charm. The hotel is a little old but very well kept. Most of the staff speak English to some extent and if they cant they are very good at hand signals sand finding someone that can talk English. The breakfast is very traditional and hardy. Fresh cheese and meat and hard and soft boiled eggs, bread and spreads for miles all kinds and all very tasty. The Spa area is very relaxing and if you are on a adults only vacation this is a must. they have heated pool, massage area, Yoga area, just a sit down and relax lounge, sauna and drop pool all very well kept and clean and not to crowded most of the areas only had one other person in them. Though out the hotel there are glasses and fresh water lemon and mint. A great place to stay and relax. A must if you are traveling outside of the major cities.

Good news: the staff is friendly, everything is clean and food is actually good. However, given that most of the rooms are from the 1980s and have not seen any refurbishment since the entire joint is completely overpriced, even if you only pay a special corporate rate.

I was there for the first time but I really liked the atmosphere was super eating rich time needed. Service was also super nice and good team. I'm excited and I'm sure I'll come back.

We were there for the 2x...it was again really good this year we received freshly renovated rooms...right great ...with own small fridge, a Nespresso machine and on the nightstand my phone can only lay up by inductive charging!!! I love the varied, varied and tasty breakfast served here...there are no wishes to stay open, also vegetarians and vegans are thought of!The staff is always friendly and helpful!!! We like to come back!!!

We are just going through here for one night and have to say we are very pleasantly surprised at the kindness here at the hotel and service. The food is completely sufficient, satisfactory and super tasty. But the bartender Leon brought the evening to the best conclusion. You realize he's doing his job with passion. Never been so well advised....
