This restaurant is a perfect spot for dining with your grandparents, which is exactly what we used to do. It has a spacious parking lot and is easy to locate and access by car. The service and ambiance are delightful, and the Sunday Roasts are especially delicious.

Situated at the top end of Wendover next to the railway station, this restaurant is a popular family and gastro pub with a long history. The old world styling, including plain wood floors and oak beams, has been maintained over the years, creating a cozy atmosphere. The interior features varied alcoves on different levels, making it great for intimate dinners for two. The food is undeniably fantastic, with generous portions and a diverse range of dishes to cater to every taste and budget. Additionally, the restaurant boasts a large garden that is a hit with families during the summer months.

For a chain pub a lovely experience. Granddaughter had school inset day so took her for a lunch. Excellent children’s menu (very good activity sheet for the children’s menu), food good and reasonable (she was so sweet kept saying this is amazing thank you nana), staff friendly and nice. Excellent all round

Totally recommend this pub. Beautiful garden and scenery. Amazing food (we had the steak), and excellent/very attentive service by Alex. Definitely we will be back
