Desire - Aylesbury Vale

I was extremely impressed by this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the spice levels were just right. The service was good and the restaurant is located in a beautiful building. However, the worn out, dirty carpet on the stairs really detracts from the overall atmosphere.

We ordered takeout from Desire and it was amazing! The food, including Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala with rice, bhajis, and naans, was excellent. They even gave us some poppadums which were great. The best part was when we ordered on a Sunday night and realized we were out of bin bags but the shops were closed. I left a note in the delivery instructions asking if they had any to spare, and they actually included one for us! It showed their great customer service and made our evening. We will definitely be returning to eat in or get takeout from Desire again, and we highly recommend them!

I was very fortunate not to have made a reservation, but still managed to get a table at this restaurant. The food was hot and very flavorful, and the staff were polite and provided great service. The mango chicken curry was sweet and delicious, and the Sizzling Juliette dish was served on fire and my husband absolutely loved it.

I just want to say as a Chef of 45+ years and a curry eater for all of them this was by far the best curry i have eaten and Max our waiter was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. THANK YOU DESIRE

I keep trying other curry houses and then coming back to this one. We normally get a delivery or eat in sometimes. Got a take away and collected and every single dish was faultless and plenty of it… we won’t go anywhere else!
