Bidra med feedbackWe visited twice during a recent ski trip. I would recommend booking in advance in the morning to reserve an inside or outside table depending on the weather. For such a small remote mountain hut the quality of the food and cuisine generally is superb....We enjoyed pumpkin soup, plat du jours of lamb with peppercorn sauce, sausage, risotto valaisan and galettes. All excellent. Good selection of local wines, bottled artisan beers and biere pression. Friendly staff and service. We will back on our next visit.
Really lovely peaceful mountain setting, fantastic traditional restaurant with modern twist on Swiss cuisine.
Great place on the slopes (or walking at this time or in summer); very nice little chalet but it is even better if you can eat on the terrace. One unique set menu (not cheap) or soup/pancakes but very good, very friendly service.
Amazing view, delicious meals and wonderful host. We did the lunch inside (snowy weather) and the lunch outside (sunshine and view) and both were a real blessing. Pascal is a Sheppard in the spring and summer time and a cook in winter time. The restaurant...is in a beautiful typical chalet with a beautiful view and in a very quiet area. A lot of specialities from the region and around lamb. Everything we ordered was delicious. All the staff is so nice. Do not forget to book as it is always very busy.
This is a fabulous place (signposted on a walking trail accessed from the mid-station of the cable car or via Les Luys and Les Masques ski pistes. A rustic mountain hut serving traditional Valaisan food and crepes/galettes. Views from the terrace are stunning looking over...the Rhine valley and Swiss Alps. Service is very friendly and attentive. I would recommend the galette with ham, cheese, and an egg quite light for lunch. The menu of the day also looked very good.
