Ihop - Avondale

I will NEVER order at this iHop EVER again!!! My order was supposed to be ready by 10:56. I got in there on time, had to wait another 20 minutes for pancakes. It was busy, I get it. I waited that 20+ minutes to get small, tough pancakes! If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is not acceptable! I'm just done with ihop altogether.

IHOP deserves zero stars after what we received tonight. We picked up dinner tonight and received burnt food. It is obvious that the cook saw the burnt food and did not care to remake it. It does not take long to remake this food, especially since it is so easy and quick to make. Also, the hostess or whoever is in charge of putting to-go orders together also did not care because there is no way they did not see the burnt food while packaging it up. This is completely unacceptable from both people. Not only could you tell it was burnt but it smelled and tasted like it. The omelet we ordered was supposed to have onions and green peppers but it was not added and the meat was very dry.

Kristen was the server of the day for our party of 2. She had more than three tables but our drink order was delivered quick. Meal was in front of us within 15 minutes, I asked for more salsa and didn't wait long for that either. Thanks Kristen!! Another Thursday morning visit and service was still great. I did not catch the you lady's name but she's helping me come back because of the continued outstanding service!

I really miss the variety of syrup's you could choose from. I wanted my kids to experience that fun just as I did, but. We got the minion pancakes for my 5 year old so she still had fun. The place was pretty busy, but they were juggling well. Our wait wasn't too long. It's relatively clean and everyone was polite, so I can't say anything bad about it. We enjoyed our food.

I?m not sure if it?s new management but I definitely seeing a change! I have never seen a manager hold down a Restaurant the way this gentleman did! This IHOP was completely packed on a Sunday. The manager Giovanni was top notch! All his staff and team were amazing! Wait times were no longer than 15 minutes I?ve never seen anything like it! I?d recommend this IHOP to anyone! This manager is awesome!
