Taki's Greek Kitchen - Avon Lake

If you are looking for a treat of authentic and REALLY GOOD Greek cuisine Taki is where you need to go. Our server who thought it was a day ahead - a day closer to a day away was super attentive, polite and gave great recommendations. From the shrimp speciality on Wwdnesdays to the Octopus and the chicken main square and lamb meatballs were all tastefully decorated and tasty. The drinks were cheap and well mixed. In any case, a place to go once and then go again often.

This small unassuming restaurant at the end of a strip mall....certainly did not disappoint. The best lemon chicken (avgolemono) soup that I have ever had. Calamari appetizer was great. I can't wait to return and sample more from their menu.

Super cozy and cute restaurant. The fireplace is the center of attention as it should be. I started with the KALAMARAKIA (fried calamari pictured below). I was not a fan of it, hence the 4 stars. However, I had a refreshing glass of Pinot Grigio and the pita bread with the cucumber spread/dip was good!!!! As for my entrée, I ordered the MACARONIA THALASSINA (pasta in a lemon butter sauce with shrimp, mussels, lobster, feta?.and fresh herbs (pictured below). When I say simply delicious. I mean DELICIOUS!!!! I was definitely happy with my choice and will be back to try other items on the menu.

My family and I had a great dining experience at Taki's Greek Kitchen. The food is so delicious and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The food is amazing here. I consider this place the only legit Greek restaurant in the Cleveland area, the food was spot on. The owner is very proactive in making sure everyone has a positive dining experience and our server was great. I can?t say enough nice things about this place. The dining area is on the small side, so making reservations is highly suggested.
