Po House - Avon

After a summer in Rodanthe live and work, this restaurant is our favorite. All we had is delicious. Last night I had the catch of the day and my husband had the fish and chips (which are not interesting fried) and both fabulous. Love their blueberry peach bull. The man and woman team that owns the place (and also the front of the home / bartender and chef are) pays attention to all incredible attention to detail. The waitress who was also excellent said that everything is possible is local source. All employees wear masks and only outdoor seating. The sound side views are beautiful and also part of the overall great experience.

Absolutely amazing food! Best fish and chips I've ever had. Could not have asked for a better meal with a perfect Pamlico Point sunset.

Service was great... the food was standard... definitely not bad, but could have been increased. The highlight of our dinner was the seafood bisque, wonderfully flavored and velvety texture. I could have eaten more bowls! The cornbread coating on my shrimp was crispy and well cooked, but could have used a little more in the type of spices. The salt and vinegar fish and chips were a very tasty and interesting shot on fish and chips, another piece of fish would have been great. One party member ordered shrimps and dimples... the dimples were soup, I really mean soup. I want to visit again and see what new next time I'm down

Great drinks, food and service. With the limited capacity due to COVID, the staff also ensured that everyone could take up as quickly as possible and had any exceptional service. All employees worked beyond and beyond to serve the bartender. The food was excellent! We had the tuna and the catch of the day. Both were boiled to the perfect temperature. The bisque of seafood was a perfect light appetizer to split and taste exceptionally.

Amazing food quality and presentation ! I had shrimp pasta with pesto it was decently good. We also enjoyed mussels they were pretty good as much as rest of food. Staff provide fast service and hospitality, great new spot in Avon that definitely stick out !
