Restaurant La Grille - Avignon

We were happy with our late lunch. This restaurant is in a great location, with outdoor tables on a beautiful day. As other reviewers have noticed, it is best to stick to the “basic” items in the menu. We enjoyed the French soup, escargots and... liver (the daily menu). Everything was delicious. The good news is the prices are very reasonable. Our servers were pleasant. Overall we were satisfied.

We stopped here after we arrived in the city late afternoon. They had constant service that was good, but the beef stew wasn't good. Half was fat.

I had a disappointing risotto. My wife and children are a classic steak and pommes that was much more beautiful. It was okay, though I wish I had eaten somewhere else.

Fairly standard bistro with outdoor seating on the square. Reasonable prices and service. Good menu range, wine and beers.

We had dinner here choosing their Menu Bistro and house wine. Compared to other similar establishments we used during our stay in Avignon this represented good value for money. The elements of the menu were nicely presented by friendly staff. The wine was very... acceptable for the price. For a restaurant in a prime location we thought this was very good.
