Le Bercail - Avignon

Eating was okay, easy. server were at least friendly, attentive and smiling gott thanks for that we have in the rule not located in tourist places. families are definitely welcome. pay attention to the ferry plan when they plan to take that back to the city. come... here to sunset view of avignon unbeatable!

Very good food and kind friendly service. They make an effort to speak English if you don’t know French which is nice. Beautiful location to watch the sun set over the city.

I went with family during winter time. The online reservation was available either before 7h45 or after 9h00. We arrived at 8h40 and there was only a couple of tables occupied. I don't understand why the online service didn't propose other time slots in between....Anyway, the starter had tapenade and fish pâté, both were very salt. We ordered daube de bœuf as mains course, which arrived cold. The food was below average and too expensive for what it is. After being 3 times to Le Bercail before, I came back again for the view, but had a bad experience with the food. Besides they put a plastic cover over part of the terrasse for winter season, which just ruined the view. Will not come back nor recommend.

Nothing extremely great about the food. It's good, but the real treat is the view from the outside eating area. Makes for a romantic evening on a warm night.

I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews. I’m so glad that we decided to go anyway! Wonderful location! Very laid back lunch atmosphere! Delicious food! The best gazpacho either of us had ever tasted. Mine is delicious but theirs is better! Great pasta,...seafood dish with black garlic sauce, excellent wine selection. Right on the river, watch the boats and enjoy the great outdoors of southern France while having a wonderful lunch!
