Tatore - Aventura

Went for dinner, Thursday around 7pm, not too crowded. Parking lot available in front of restaurant. Located at the southern most end of the building. Avocado salad was good and healthy. Spaghetti and meatballs are always a classic. Apparently on Thursday nights they have a card game group? Trucco?

We drive down to Miami from central Florida every 2-3 months just to eat dinner here. The food, service is absolutely amazing. Always So friendly we never leave back home disappointed.

Incredibly disappointing. We ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken, lasagna, and 2 side orders of garlic knots. I don't understand how the 2 entrees at the bottom got crushed without the garlic knots on top being crushed. I can only assume whoever packed it, crushed them down and placed the garlic knot containers on top. The whole container on each entree just crushed and the lasagna was mashed. The alfredo sauce was everywhere. The bag was drenched and ripped and the containers were messy with sauce dripping. The food came cold. The chicken was chewy. The sauce lacked flavor. The lasagna lacked flavor too but was ok. Not good. Just ok. But that and everything else, not worth the money. The garlic knots were stale and lacked flavor as well. I wanted to say it's a fluke but based on other reviews, this is not unusual. Very disappointing thankfully we ordered through doordash and they were kind enough to give us a refund.

First time coming here. The food: we ordered fettuccine alla carbonara (actually I asked spaghetti instead of fettuccine and that wasn’t a problem) and four cheese sorrentinos pink. The fettuccine alla carbonara was extremely heavy too creamy and way to much cheese (and let me tell you, I am a huge cheese fan, so me saying it was a lot, it’s rare). The sorrentinos were ok. The service: waiter was nice. Based on this first time experience I don’t think I would come back. Just because I thought it was so heavy… But my sister who looooves cheese and heavy food loved the carbonara pasta. So I think it really depends on the type of food you like.

The gelatos and desserts are to die for. I tried the tiramisu and a couple of the gelatos, and every scoop is heavenly! Staff are super friendly and they provide amazing service! Place is very clean.
