Best sandwich in Portugal. Leitao- fresh suckling pig, sheep’s cheese, pieces of pork skin, amd sauce- great bread/roll too! In Portugal for a week. Delizioso!!!

My boyfriend ordered the piglet sandwich and I choose the piglet with crispy potato chips and fresh orange slices. I really like the crispy skin but there wasn't a lot of meat on my plate, it was mostly fat and bone. In my opinion the sandwich was way better. It was perfect for lunch. We seated outside; they have a nice terrace. Very affordable!

We were one of the first people there for 12:30, and it was still quite a bit of a wait til we were served. It seemed as though the pig didn’t arrive until after we had already ordered. (We saw them carrying them into the restaurants in boxes) The sandwich was really good. It’s literally just bun and pork. (No other toppings) The main square is very busy.

It’s not very often I’m really impressed with food, but this was one of those occasions. We were looking for a traditional restaurant serving suckling pig and received a recommendation. We stoped by to reserve a table darning the day time. The staff were cheerful and spoke good English. The meal itself was phenomenal! Suckling pig, crisps and orange slices sounds a very bizarre combination but it really works. Another party member had piglet with beans and rice. He raved about it. We followed with chocolate mousse for desert €2.5) which was large, fluffy and delicious. Tip: Book ahead. The restaurant is very small and a line quickly formed outside. 1/2 portion is more than enough for one! If you don’t like pork, this probably isn’t the place for you. The menu is very small and focused. Don’t expect sliced, roast pork! Of the 4 chunks of succulent meat, two had some bone attached. The cracklings was amazing. Great value, atmosphere, food, service and ‘something really different’. Will absolutely eat here again!

Went for lunch and really enjoyed it. They have a lunch menu consisting of 3 nice pieces of bbq piglet (leitao) with potato crisps slices of orange; a soft drink or glass of wine an expresso for a total of €8.50. I very much enjoyed my meal. Service was prompt very friendly . Definitely recommend and would go again.
